Route

Direction 1Port of Ayas

The port of Ayas is located in Artanish Bay and is the port of call for the historic sailboat Cilicia. Here you can take part in various types of excursions, learn about the history and travel details of the sailboat.

Direction 2Sevan peninsula

The charm of the peninsula of the blue-eyed Sevan is complemented by one of the architectural gems of medieval Armenia, Sevanavank, where the prominent historian of the 10th century Hovhannes Draskhanakertsi worked.

Direction 3Sevanavank

The Sevan Peninsula is located in the Gegharkunik Marz of Armenia, in the northwestern part of Lake Sevan. The peninsula was formed as a result of lowering the lake level. In 921, the Battle of Sevan occurred between the Armenian army of Ashot Yerkat and the Arab army. Sevanavank and Vazgenyan School are located here.
