Route

Direction 1Tandzaver

Tandzaver village is located in the Syunik region and is situated at an altitude of 1200-1500 m above sea level. Tantsaver is a small village where only 34 families live, and only seven students study in the school. You can explore the cultural attractions in the area along the Trail of Legends in Tandzaver, which stretches from Khndzoresk to Khustup along a trail of about 250 km. One of the newest opportunities for tourism in Tanzhaver is hiking with electric bicycles. The Magical Forest of Tandzaver is Armenia’s first museum of art and nature.

Direction 2Halidzor fortress

Built in the first half of the 17th century, the Halidzor fortress was a secure defensive fortress during the national liberation struggle for Syunik and the base of the leader of the liberation movement commander David Bek.

Direction 3Baghaberd fortress

Baghaberd fortress was one of the most important military strongholds of Syunik defense, which the enemies were only able to seize by deception.
