Route

Direction 1Yereruik monastery

Originally built in the pre-Christian period as a pagan shrine, the Yereruik monument today has become a tilted temple-monastery near the ruins of the city of Ani.

Direction 2Harichavank

Harijavank, built in the 13th century, was not only a place of prayer, but also had an educational and cultural mission, which was carried out by the library-school.

Direction 3Marmarashen monastery

The Marmashen Monastery was inherited by us thanks to the Armenian military and statesman, sparapet (army commander) Vahram Pahlavuni. It was built in 988-1029, and today is considered one of the best monuments of Armenian architecture.
