The charm of the peninsula of the blue-eyed Sevan is complemented by one of the architectural gems of medieval Armenia, Sevanavank, where the prominent historian of the 10th century Hovhannes Draskhanakertsi worked.

 

Direction 2The Odzun Monastery

After demolition of the khachkars of Djuga in Nakhijevan, the largest complex of khachkars dating back to the 10th-18th centuries is the mysterious Noratus cemetery.
